Workshop Description: While discrimination happens across the various gender identities, those who identify as womxn and/or trans, have been and are historically marginalized and oppressed. It is important for those who come from privileged identities to understand how they can use their power and positionality to support their counterparts who are continually oppressed. While one can never fully understand or experience an oppressed individual's journey, there is always a positive way to use your privilege to help those who aren’t listened to.

Goal: To effectively display the challenges that womxn/womxn identifying individuals face regularly in their professional and social worlds and to develop support systems through a shared experience.
